Fuuvix ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable Indian law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not collect passwords.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the platform - pages visited, features used, quiz answers, and learning progress.

Payment Information: When you subscribe, we collect your UPI transaction reference (UTR) and payment screenshots. We do not store bank account details or UPI PINs.

Device Information: Browser type, device type, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and personalize the learning experience.
To verify payments and activate subscriptions.
To track your learning progress and show relevant content.
To communicate important updates about your account or the platform.
To improve the platform based on usage patterns.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Payment screenshots are stored in private S3 buckets accessible only to authorized administrators.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with:

Service providers: AWS (hosting), Google (authentication) - only as necessary to operate the platform.
Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority.

5. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to:

Access your personal data we hold.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
Withdraw consent for data processing.

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Fuuvix is designed for students. If a user is under 18, we require parental consent for account creation. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes - retained for 7 years).

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
