Fuuvix ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable Indian law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not collect passwords.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the platform - pages visited, features used, quiz answers, and learning progress.

Anonymous Usage Data: For publicly accessible pages (blog, free chapter content), we collect anonymous page view and visit counts. No personal information is collected from anonymous visitors.

Payment Information: When you subscribe, payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We receive your Razorpay Payment ID and transaction status. We do not store your card details, bank account numbers, or UPI PINs - these are handled entirely by Razorpay.

Device Information: Browser type, device type, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

Blog Interactions: If you like a blog post, the action is recorded anonymously. No personal identification is stored for blog likes.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalize the learning experience.
• To process payments and activate subscriptions instantly via Razorpay.
• To track your learning progress and show relevant content.
• To communicate important updates about your account or the platform.
• To improve the platform based on usage patterns.
• To measure content engagement (page views, topic visits) for platform improvement.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with:

• Service providers: AWS (hosting), Google (authentication), Razorpay (payment processing), Google Analytics (anonymous usage statistics) - only as necessary to operate the platform.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority.

5. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data we hold.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Withdraw consent for data processing.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We use browser local storage to remember your grade/subject preferences and blog like history. We use Google Analytics for anonymous traffic measurement. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Fuuvix is designed for students. If a user is under 18, we require parental consent for account creation. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes - retained for 7 years).

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
