Information we collect
Account information
Signing in with Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture. We never collect passwords.
Usage data
Pages visited, features used, quiz answers and learning progress.
Anonymous usage data
On public pages — the blog and free chapters — page views and visit counts only. Nothing personal.
Payment information
Razorpay handles payment. We receive the Payment ID and transaction status; card numbers, bank details and UPI PINs never reach us.
Device information
Browser type, device type and IP address, for security and analytics.
Blog interactions
Liking a post is recorded anonymously. No personal identification is stored against it.
How we use your data
- To provide and personalise the learning experience.
- To process payments and activate subscriptions instantly via Razorpay.
- To track your learning progress and show relevant content.
- To communicate important updates about your account or the platform.
- To improve the platform based on usage patterns.
- To measure content engagement — page views, topic visits — for platform improvement.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region, encrypted in transit over HTTPS and at rest.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Data is shared only in these two cases:
- Service providers: AWS for hosting, Google for authentication, Razorpay for payment processing and Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics — only as necessary to operate the platform.
- Legal requirements: where required by law, court order or a government authority.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act 2023 you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and data yourself, at any time, from app.fuuvix.com/delete-account or from the Profile screen in the app — subject to the legal retention described below.
- Withdraw consent for data processing.

Cookies & local storage
We use essential cookies for authentication, to keep you signed in. Browser local storage remembers your class and subject preferences and your blog like history. Google Analytics measures anonymous traffic. We use no third-party advertising cookies.
Children's privacy
Fuuvix is designed for students. If a user is under 18 we require parental consent for account creation, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account the deletion happens immediately, not on a queue — your account and sign-in identity, learning progress and streaks, quiz attempts and scores, starred and bookmarked cards, practice and mock-paper results, and your chapter access records are all removed at once.
Two things outlive the account, and only these:
- Subscription and payment records, retained for 7 years as tax law requires. Your identity is stripped from them at the moment of deletion and replaced with a random reference, so they remain valid accounting records but can no longer be traced back to you.
- Server logs, which may contain an account identifier and are kept for up to 30 days before being discarded automatically.
Razorpay, our payment processor, keeps its own transaction records under its own policy and retention periods, which we do not control.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, and will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification.
